1. Use of Service

ExtraClasses provides a platform connecting students and parents with independent tutors. By creating an account, you agree to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of ExtraClasses. Tutors must hold valid DBS certificates, provide accurate qualification information, and comply with all safeguarding requirements.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Students pay the tutor's listed rate with no additional fees. Refunds are issued if a tutor cancels or fails to attend. Disputes are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Cancellation

Lessons may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% charge. No-shows by tutors receive an automatic full refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

ExtraClasses facilitates connections between tutors and students but is not responsible for the quality of lessons delivered. We provide safeguarding measures and verification but cannot guarantee outcomes.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
